Taking Tests

If you are an enrolled student who has to face tests on a regular basis and are looking to improve your overall score on set test, then check out the below strategies you can utilize.

The first thing you want to do whenever you receive a test is access how much time you have and how many questions there are to answers. Taking note of the time and questions helps you set a pace so you know how fast you need to work in order to finish the test on time.

After you have noted the time limit and number of questions, you want to begin reading through each questions and answering them to the best of your ability. When going over the test it is important to answer the easy questions that you know the correct answer to first and to skip over the harder questions for when you have finished answering the ones you know the answer to. After you have gone through all of the easy questions you want to go back to the harder questions and eliminate the answer choices on each question you know are wrong until you find the correct answer.

When looking at each individual question it is beneficial to underline important key words in the question and to try and get the answer choices down to the correct one through the process of elimination.
